NOW OFFERING VETERANS/PTSD CLASSES!

Grappling With PTSD Japanese Jujutsu Lessons

Martial arts improves both physical and mental attributes of those suffering from a variety of disabilities.

Specifically, jujutsu offers many facets of training and disciplines that render it perfrect for individuals suffering from anxiety disorders,

such as PTSD.

Jutusu allows a student to experience challenges and overcome frustrations in a safe, controlled environment which allows for incremental improvements and advancements.

Our instructors have first-hand personal experience dealing with PTSD, orthopedic and neurological service-connected disabilities and by way of trial and error have adapted their instruction techniques and classes to overcome their physical disabilities and mental anxiety, which is why our program can be specifically customized for each individual student in order to enable the best possible outcome.

Our Grappling With PTSD program has been designed, developed, and customized by disabled veteran instructors to assist with the rehabilitation and treatment of individuals suffering from physical and mental PTSD disability issues utilizing jujutsu.

We have one open class scheduled midday on every Wednesday, from 11:30am ~ 1:30pm, however, we will happily accommodate requests from potential veteran students-in-need to provide customized jujutsu lessons, counseling, and training on additional days and times.

NOTE: Our Grappling With PTSD program is provided free of charge by our Heiwashinkai Jujutsu 501(c)(3) charitable organization
